ACT THREE

Now in  this act  a new character entered the seine named Giles  rudely interrupts the court proceeding by saying that he has found evidence that  the girls have been lying to everyone. This raise questions to the court. Then proctor meets up with marry to tell that there were no spirits and no witchcraft involved with the girls and she would have to say this to the Jude. Marry tells the Jude that the girl "pretend" to be affected by witchcraft but this shocks the Jude and he starts to raise questions to Mr. Proctor if had told anybody about this before. But then Abigail is bought out to stand to tell her side of the story and when she say that and she denies anything that marry says and this makes Mr. proctor furious and which cause him to call Abigail a whore and tells everyone that he had a affair.

Do u think Mr Proctor has a chance to prove his wife innocents even with invent that happen in court with Abigail?     

 

ACT TWO

In act two there are serious situations going on with the girls and the town of Salem. This all started when the girl made claims about witchcraft this carry to court when people were being asked many questions if they were involved into any witchcraft. If they were the punishment would be death by hang. The proctor wife Elizabeth knows that proctor had a relationship with Abigail but proctor try to decline that there was anything going on but Elizabeth believes there was something going on so she is full angry against her husband. Later Elizabeth is accused of using witchcraft on Abigail which was a doll and stabling it with a needle. Mary warren is the person who knew about it but she is afraid to go against Abigail because Mary has the ability to prove the innocent of Elizabeth but she afraid of Abigail.

        

Do you think Proctor would do anything to save his wife from being accused of using witchcraft?  

The end of Act One

Towards the end of The Crucible, Betty all of a sudden awakens from the witch craft that was cast upon her and her and Abby together begin accusing people of witch craft. Right when Parris does not want anyone to know what has happened with betty and abby.

Abigail: "I saw Goody Hawkins with the Devil!"

Betty: "I saw Goody Bibber with the Devil!"
Abigail: "I saw Goody Booth with the Devil!"

1. Why exactly does Abby begin to accuse other people of witch-craft?

In act one of the crucible reveal many conflicts and mystery with the characters.
Parris is the character that is concerned with the image that expressed himself thought out Salem who is the minster of the church and with his position  he has taken a big responsibility . But what makes his job difficult is knowing that Abigail is hiding a secret from him that cause him to stress because of what he witness with the girl Abigail and Betty dancing on a forest where no one is supposed to be there. Later Betty feel ill and nobody knows why and there has  been speculations that witchcraft has been involved which made her sick. Paris is worry that whole town might go against him because his daughter might  have been involved with witchcraft.

Parris: "Abominations are done in the forest" (pg 10)
Parris: "Abigail, i have fought here three long years to bend these stiff-necked people to me, and now, just now when some good respect is rising for me in the parish, you compromise my very character" (pg11)

why were Abigail and Betty in forest knowing that its forbid to be there?
